So, who am I?
Hello! I’m Raj Singh, a Data and Analytics professional, based out of Bengaluru, India, with over two decades of experience in transforming data into actionable insights. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible teams and organizations to harness the power of data and drive data-driven decision-making.
My journey began in the early days of data analysis, and I’ve seen the field evolve from basic reporting and data visualization to the complex world of machine learning, big data, and predictive analytics. With a deep passion for uncovering hidden patterns and driving business value through data, I’ve worked across a variety of industries, helping organizations optimize operations, improve customer experiences, and develop smarter strategies.
I specialize in data analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering, with extensive experience in tools and technologies like SQL, Python, R, leading BI platforms (Business Objects, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.), various ETL applications (Alteryx, Knime, Dataiku) and different data cataloguing softwares (Alation, DataHub, etc.). I have worked with everything from highly curated and centralized Data Warehouses, to more unstructured Datalakes and decentralised Data Mesh approaches to keep pace with the ever increasing complexity, scale, and growing needs in data management.
I also have a keen interest in emerging areas like AI-driven analytics and data automation, and I’m always exploring how new technologies, especially the open source ones, can be used to solve complex business challenges.
